ASRO and Ethereal Space Partner to Advance Space Weather Instrumentation with ESA Commercialisation Gateway Support

The partnership will focus on integrating ASRO’s expertise in energetic particle instrumentation with Ethereal Space’s next-generation satellite constellation. By combining proven scientific capability with scalable small-satellite platforms, the two companies aim to deliver critical data for operational space weather forecasting and nowcasting.
European astronauts to monitor their radiation exposure with ASRO’s instruments

The 2022 Artemis program launched the Orion spacecraft, which had five of ASRO’s EAD radiation monitors mounted on its walls. The monitors will next be used in the next phase of the Artemis program on the Lunar Gateway space station, which is planned as a permanent base in lunar orbit.
ASRO’s space technology heads towards the Moon with NASA

The radiation monitors are used to measure the level of radiation in space that poses a danger to humans. The instruments were installed inside the Orion spacecraft. During the unmanned flight, NASA will investigate the conditions to which astronauts will be exposed during future lunar missions.
